Formed in 2006, the Sweet Nothings have a huge amount of history as Exeter Universitys best all-female contemporary A Cappella group. Over the years they have gone from strength to strength, with a large repertoire of original arrangements – from David Guetta to Coldplay. In the ‘Voice Festival UK’ 2012, the Sweet Nothings picked up an award for ‘most outstanding overall performance’. This year in particular has been crazy exciting, winning awards for ‘Best Soloist’ and ‘Best Choreography’ in the Best of the Southwest A Cappella Competition, and being named Most Improved Group in Exeter’s A Cappella Society. We hope to keep growing as a group, forming strong bonds with one another and other groups in the society! The Sweet Nothings have also performed on local TV and radio and have just returned from their debut Edinburgh Fringe run, an incredibly successful week seeing the girls pick up rave reviews and they are all very much looking forward to returning to the Festival next year.
