NASTA 40

Amid the swaggering Dinner Jackets, sleek ball gowns, fancy glasses and James Bond poses, the gorgeous Sweet Nothings rocked up and whacked out a fantastic set of top quality music. Maybe the crowds were expecting a classical string quartet? Our girls smacked the audiences with all the old favourites plus a few newbies such as “Domino” and “Eye of the Tiger.”

Yes, the girls were seen live in action by all the student TV centres from across the UK and a number of the BBC celebrities (but not all, sadly): http://guildweb.ex.ac.uk/judges/

Well done girls. You did the society proud.

But it gets better. Thanks to XTV’s Venue show the recording of our society at An A Cappella Christmas was seen by the professional judges including the series producer of “Later with Jools Holland.”

Thanks for everything, XTV and good luck with the rest of the awards tonight!
